Course Description:  We take risks in our life every day, whether we know it or not.  Let’s not take a risk in identifying an individual’s oral health condition.  Join Christa Keddie, RDH to explore why we complete oral health risk assessments, and how a PreViser® oral health risk assessment relates to activating more preventive benefits for a patient’s dental insurance under Northeast Delta Dental’s Health through Oral Wellness® (HOW®) program.
_______
Learning Objectives:
  • Identify oral health risk assessments as a key documentation tool to aid in a patient or caregivers understanding of their dental health status.
  • Integrate an annual risk assessment survey as a best practice approach to patient care.
  • Demonstrate and conduct a risk assessment survey with the PreViser® Clinical Suite.
  • Understand the ADA CDT preventive codes that are enhanced through Northeast Delta Dental’s Health through Oral Wellness® (HOW®) progra.
  • Utilize the new HOW® Home Care Offer with your patients
